Aviation Explorer Post Leader
We are partnering with Boy Scouts of America to form an aviation Explorer Post at the Glenwood Springs airport to help students explore career pathways in aviation. We're looking for local volunteers to help lead the program (fully supported with training and insurance) which will include a place to meet, expert contacts in aviation, and access to a flight simulator.
Aviation Career Exploring is a hands-on program open to young men and women from the 6th grade to 20 years old with an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Aviation. Exploring exists to teach important life and career skills to young people from all backgrounds through immersive career experiences and mentorship provided by community and business leaders. Together, we can equip young people with character, leadership and life skills that can be used both today and in their future careers.
