Warm Hearts, Warm Hugs - Throw Blanket Donation

High Country Volunteers is partnering up with local organizations to make the holidays a little bit cozier!
We're hosting a blanket drive to support our Warm Hearts, Warm Hugs - Wrapped in Kindness volunteer event. We're asking people to donate new throw blankets that we can use to prepare holiday gift bags for residents of Mesa Vista Assisted Living and clients of HomeCare & Hospice of the Valley.
On December 10, we'll gather at Bookcliffs Arts Center to write personalized Christmas cards, decorate gift bags & assemble gifts including the cozy blankets and other goodies from local artisians. (See volunteer opportunity here).
New throw blankets will be accepted through December 7th and can be dropped off at donation boxes located at:
- Parachute Library - 244 Grand Valley Way, Parachute (next to Town Hall)
- Fashion Nails - 800 Airport Rd #12, Rifle
- Wild Coffee - 704 Main St, Silt
- High Country Volunteers - 1402 Blake Ave, Glenwood Springs (inside CMC Senior Center)
