Education Volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering, please visit psswf.org/volunteer and submit an application in addition to expressing interest here. Thank you!

Our education volunteers help with PSS Wildlife's educational programming. This can include tours and educational programming in our classroom onsite, traveling to schools and events, booths at markets, Meal Monkey, etc. We have a number of resident animals (primarily reptiles, but occasionally raptors and corvids) that travel with us, and resident bobcats, wolves, raptors, corvids, and more that live onsite as part of our programs. We often do programs/booths/events from Aspen to Grand Junction, and occasionally even farther. The goal of our educational programs is to spread the word about our organization, teach about wildlife topics (what to do when you find baby animals, environmental topics, bear aware, fun wildlife facts, etc.), and foster a love for wildlife in our community.

Days and times vary, and you are able to choose which events and programs you would like to help with.
